Atlanta Repipe Plumbing Service.
| When
the time comes to replace every inch of water piping
in your home, be it gray poly (more in "Plastic
Pipe Repair" section), copper, or another material,
we are your plumbers. In this process, every single
inch of the previous piping (usually gray poly)
is removed from the home and replaced with either
CPVC, PEX, or copper (upon request). Every plumbing
fixture receives new repiping; all faucets, toilets,
tubs, showers, hose connections, your water heater,
and every other fixture or appurtenance requiring
water receives the piping of your choice. Our recommendation?
CPVC, also known as chlorinated poly-vinyl chloride.
CPVC is similar in composition to PVC, but has been
specially treated to handle hot (up to 180 degrees
F) water as well as cold. CPVC is not |

only inexpensive, but also flexible,
clean, and fast-installing. CPVC re-pipes can be done
in almost half the time as re-pipes done in copper. As
we mentioned, we will gladly install copper water piping
for you, however the cost is significantly greater due
to copper's high market cost. We will also perform your
re-pipe in PEX (cross-linked polyethylene) if you prefer.
This type of plastic water pipe is nearly identical to
the black poly (more in "Waterlines" section)
we use to install all of our new main water services.
Similar to CPVC, PEX is formulated to withstand hot water
temperatures, is extremely flexible, and if you prefer,
comes in red, blue, white and clear colors. We will also,
if necessary, install a new pressure regulating valve,
or PRV (more in "Pressure Valve installations"
section) during the process.
| No
matter which material you choose, our complete home
re-pipes are as non-invasive as possible, with minimal
access holes and wall and ceiling damage. Some holes,
however, are necessary to complete the installation.
After all, when you house was built, the water piping
was installed when there were no walls yet. |
